Cafe minamisan

Nice cafe in Asquith. Japanese and Korean fusion cafe. A wide variety of dishes and beverages - usual cafe menu items and Asian fusion items. Plenty of seats inside and at semi-outdoor seats at the back. Great for groups. Great flavours but the portion size is a bit on the smaller side.

Cafe Minamisan is little rare gems near Asquith station and Cole’s, if you are looking for a nice East Asian (Korean/Japanese) fusion cafe with good vibes (especially with the backyard seating). Very nice Coffee, wide variety of yummy brunch options with well presentation & friendly staffs. Kids and pets friendly too! Worth a visit if you’re around Hornsby/Asquith area, beats all cafe settings in Westfield shopping centre.

I love their matcha! Their menu is amazing and unique - if you’re feeling like a change from a typical western cafe breakfast, they have a range of Japanese menu items that are all so delicious! Also lovely customer service :)

Hands down the Matcha is next level! So far the dishes have been really tasty and well made. Im i coming back? Yeah deffo my secret and fave Macha go to in Sydney! Again 5 stars

The new found habitual treat on my minimalist journey. While waiting for the op shops to open to drop off my donations, I would drop by cafe minamisan for a matcha latte with oat milk and a matcha cheesecake. Both are always on point, perfect, the kind that is hard to stop once you've started. Not too sweet, and not too strong. My child gives two thumbs up for the korean fried chicken (aka, kfc). I love the seasoned chips. As a vegetarian option, the tofu bowl is really nice with a side of regular mayonnaise. It gives a nice creamy tang to the crispy bite size tofu cubes. Staff are always so lovely and attentive, giving excellent service everytime. The minimalist magazines are a nice touch for inspiration. Fans of Japanese culture will appreciate the cafe's art and decor. Thank you for always giving top service. Highly recommend

Cute cafe with really good matcha cheesecake. Came in here for a bit of a snack on a Saturday afternoon. Got the yuzu ade drink myself and absolutely loved it. Good flavour, not crazy sweet, and very refreshing. Cute sitting area in the back. You need to walk through the kitchen area to get to it.

Great spot for Katsu sandwiches and matcha lattes. Rare find in the area. Food was very good as was the matcha latte. Also tried a coffee and it was also good. Recommended if you are in the area. Such a lovely experience. Kind and patient staff. Delicious, fresh, high quality food. Such a cute atmosphere too! My boyfriend rated the chicken katsu curry a 10/10 which is very rare. Overall extremely happy with my experience. Would recommend :)
